At the 31st SEA Games (05.2022), the Vietnamese swimming team won 11 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 3 bronze medals with athletes such as: Nguyen Huy Hoang, Pham Thanh Bao, Tran Hung Nguyen, Ho Nguyen Duy Khoa, Nguyen Huu Kim Son, Hoang Quy Phuoc, Le Thi My Thao, Ngo Dinh Chuyen, Pham Thi Van.
At the 19th Asiad (10.2023), the Vietnamese swimming team won 2 bronze medals with athlete Nguyen Huy Hoang.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, shooter Trinh Thu Vinh ranked fourth in the women’s 10m air pistol event and seventh in the women’s 25m pistol event.
