In early 2020, the market fluctuated greatly under the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. By taking advantage of our value chain, we launched the product Lotus Root with Pineapple, with the aim of meeting higher snacking needs.
Pineapple Lotus Root is a favorite snack for young people because it is a combination of crispy dried lotus root and sweet and sour pineapple jam. This is a delicious and healthy snack. Delicious because it suits the taste of the majority of young people, Healthy because of the production process from fresh pineapple – no preservatives – cooked in a vacuum pot.

- Lotus root, pineapple, sugar, cooking oil.
Dong Thap is known as the land of Pink Lotus, so lotus products have become very popular such as dried lotus seeds, lotus leaf tea, lotus milk, lotus leaf bags, dried lotus flowers or other lotus art products. However, lotus root products have not been named on the Dong Thap specialty map until Tu Bong’s Fragrant Lotus Root was born.
What are the characteristics of the ingredients used to make Lotus Root Sandwich?
In Asian cuisine, lotus root has a cool, nutty taste, many medicinal properties, and is widely used in medicines and health-supporting dishes. In addition, pineapple is an extremely popular fruit in tropical countries like Vietnam with a characteristic sour taste and a sweet taste depending on the growing area, and it is an irresistible refreshing dish. When these two types are combined, it can only be described in one word: DELICIOUS.
How to call it Healthy?
- After cutting and washing, lotus root is frozen and then fried in a vacuum fryer at low temperature. Then, put into the oil-separating centrifuge system to remove the oil stuck on the product.
- Fresh ripe pineapple, washed, peeled, eyes removed, pureed and mixed with sugar and condensed in a vacuum environment, helping to shorten the cooking time and lower the boiling temperature. The finished pineapple jam has little change in color and flavor, and its nutritional content is still retained.
