STUDY ABROAD OPPORTUNITIES: ISTVÁN SZÉCHENYI UNIVERSITY

István Széchenyi University was founded in 1968 and is located in Győr. The main campus of Győr University (Széchenyi István University), located on the banks of the Danube and just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre, has recently undergone a major infrastructure renovation including the expansion of the university’s student accommodation with the addition of two new, high-quality and well-equipped dormitories. With an international integration programme, 24 English-taught programmes at all levels will be offered from September 2019. International Bachelor’s programmes include Vehicle Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Food Engineering, Business Administration & Management and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. In the field of university-industry cooperation, Audi Hungaria and the University of Győr are collaborating on a unique project. Since 2015, they have jointly established the “Audi Hungaria Department of Automotive Engineering”, which currently has six professorships: internal combustion engines, automotive production technology, complete vehicle development, materials science and technology, environmental engineering, logistics and transport. The involvement of company expertise at the University of Győr is enhanced by the direct participation of Audi Hungaria experts in lectures and research.
