HANOI – SAPA – MOC CHAU – MAI CHAU – NINH BINH – HA LONG (OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE) (12 DAYS – 11 NIGHTS)
DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI (No Meals)
After arriving in Hanoi, we will pick you up and take you to your hotel.
You will have time to relax, explore Hanoi and relax.
Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI TOUR – STREET FOOD – WATER PUPPETRY (B, L)
Have breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and memorial area. Explore famous destinations such as the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam (the first university in Vietnam, founded in 1076 and operating for 700 years).
Enjoy a unique cup of egg coffee at a small cafe with a typical Hanoi style. Experience a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter.
Lunch with bun cha – a Hanoi specialty, a dish that former US President Barack Obama enjoyed with chef Anthony Bourdain when he visited Hanoi. Accompanied by Bia Hoi – a famous draft beer of Hanoi people.
After that, watch a water puppet show – a unique folk art form that recreates Vietnamese historical stories and legends.

DAY 3: HANOI – LAO CAI – SAPA (B, L, D)
In the morning, depart for Lao Cai (250km, highway). Continue 35km to Sapa town. Check in hotel.
In the afternoon, walk to visit Cat Cat village – home to the H’Mong people. Then return to Sapa.
Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 4: SAPA – ETHNIC VILLAGES (B, L)
Prepare for a full day trekking trip through Ta Van, Lao Chai, Giang Ta Chai villages. Pass through terraced fields, explore the lives of ethnic minorities such as Black H’Mong, Tay, Xa Pho.
Opportunity to learn about the customs of the Giay people in Ta Van village and the Red Dao people in Giang Ta Chai village.
Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 5: SAPA – FANSIPAN – RETURN TO HANOI (B, L)
In the morning, conquer Fansipan peak (3,143m) – “Roof of Indochina”. Previously, visitors had to trek for 2 days to reach the top, but now it only takes 20 minutes by the world’s most modern cable car system. Return to Sapa, then return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 6: HANOI – MOC CHAU (B, L, D)
Depart for Moc Chau (230km ~ 3.5 hours). Visit Bat Cave, where the water is cool all year round.
Continue to Moc Chau Happy Land, a colorful park in the middle of Ban Lun valley. Free to walk around and take photos. If you go in October – November, you will visit the white mustard flower fields covering Moc Chau.
In the afternoon, visit Ban Ang pine forest, where there is a poetic lake.
Overnight in Moc Chau.
DAY 7: DISCOVER MOC CHAU (B, L, D)
Visit O Long tea hill, enjoy the scenery of green tea trees.
Continue to Dai Yem waterfall, where the waterfall falls from a height of 100m.
Visit Vat village, a place associated with the history of the Thai people in Moc Chau.
Overnight in Moc Chau.
DAY 8: MOC CHAU – MAI CHAU (B, L)
Depart for Mai Chau (65km, 1.5 hours). Mai Chau is a beautiful valley with many Thai villages.
Visit Pom Coong and Lac villages, where there are small stilt houses of the Muong people.
In the afternoon, cycle around Mai Chau to enjoy the peaceful scenery.
Overnight in Mai Chau.
DAY 9: MAI CHAU – NINH BINH (B, L)
In the morning, depart for Ninh Binh. Visit Trang An eco-tourism area by boat, explore caves such as Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave.
In the afternoon, visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le.
Overnight in Ninh Binh.
DAY 10: NINH BINH – HA LONG (B, L, D on cruise)
Depart for Ha Long (4 hours drive).
Board the cruise, enjoy seafood lunch, admire the beautiful rocky islands.
In the evening, the boat anchors in the middle of the bay.
Overnight on the cruise.
DAY 11: HA LONG – HA NOI (Light breakfast, Brunch on cruise)
In the morning, practice Tai Chi on the deck.
Enjoy a light breakfast and brunch while the cruise returns to the dock.
Depart for Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 12: HANOI – RETURN (B)
Free time until departure to the airport. End of tour.
