– BAVABI fresh oysters Bavabi milk oysters are farmed in a planned sea area of over 4000ha in Van Don – Quang Ninh. The breed is strictly controlled, the farming environment is sampled periodically. Ensuring the marine environment is always clean and unpolluted. Milk oysters are farmed in an ideal environment and conditions.
– BAVABI ice-coated oysters are stored below -18 degrees, keeping the original shape and nutrients of the food, without using chemicals, thanks to the low temperature inhibiting bacterial growth. However, when thawed, the product no longer retains its fresh nutrients.

BAVABI fresh oysters: Bavabi milk oysters are farmed in a planned sea area of over 4000ha in Van Don – Quang Ninh. The breed is strictly controlled, the farming environment is sampled periodically. Ensuring the marine environment is always clean and unpolluted. Milk oysters are farmed in an ideal environment and conditions.

Standard milk oysters reach 10 – 12 pieces/kg. After being harvested, they will be quickly transported to the Bavabi processing factory. The factory is conveniently located in Dong Xa, Van Don, Quang Ninh, very close to the farming area.

Preliminary processing of milk oysters at the Bavabi factory:

  • After being checked for quality, milk oysters will be put into the rotating cage washing system.
  • Oysters are washed with filtered and disinfected seawater.
  • Damaged and small sized ones continue to be sorted by the rotating cage system. Dirt and microorganisms on oysters will be completely washed away.
  • After being cleaned, oysters will be transferred to the processing room. The processing room always meets the temperature standard below 20℃. Workers always wear gloves and protective gear during the working process.

BAVABI ice-coated oysters are preserved below -18 degrees, keeping the shape and nutrients of the food intact, without using chemicals, thanks to the low temperature inhibiting bacterial growth. However, when the vegetables are thawed, the product no longer retains its fresh nutrients.

Proton freezers use a magnetic density environment and an electromagnetic wave transmission environment. This keeps the product always fresh after thawing. Helps the cells of the raw material not to be destroyed, so it can be enjoyed according to Sashimi standards, especially it is less watery. The product is strictly quality controlled based on world standards.

Before using Proton technology, oysters must go through a seawater filtration system, undergo 22 hours of thorough disinfection in which seawater circulates at a density of 12 liters per 1000 oysters, continuously every minute for cleaning. After the disinfection process, BAVABI Oysters will be immediately frozen at -500 C in a freezing chamber with a modern Proton technology freezing system.

With the above ideal conditions, oysters retain their original freshness. After less than 30 minutes, the core temperature of the oyster’s intestine reaches -18℃.

BAVABI dried oysters are also a prominent product, made from fresh oysters from Van Don sea, meeting strict export standards. The production process of dried oysters includes shelling, drying in a solar-powered drying house, and storage at -18°C.

  • Oysters are dried at low temperatures, still retaining their original color and flavor, the meat is still firm and sweet, the physical and chemical properties do not change, and there is little loss of nutrients (lipids, proteins, etc.), so the product quality is high.
  • Dried oysters are not affected by rain, dust, insects, etc. Depending on the size of the oyster, the humidity can be optimized to <5%.
  • BAVABI’s dried oyster products are not only widely distributed domestically but also exported to demanding markets such as Asia and Europe.
